Congratulations to the leader of the Supramolecular NanoChemistry & Materials Group at ICN2 Daniel Maspoch Comamala, who has won one of the awards that only prestigious Spanish scientists, researchers and entrepreneurs receive.

 

On 6th June 2023, a jury made up of more than 80 people, including 21 Nobel Prize winners, decided the six winners of the prizes Rei Jaume I, recognized as the most prestigious for scientific activity carried out in Spain. Have been announced at a formal ceremony at the Palau de la Generalitat Valenciana, presided over by the acting head of the Council Ximo Puig, and many other personalities.

A total of 222 candidates opted for these Awards this year 2023, but only 6 were awarded by the Rei Jaume I Foundation. These awards recognize the work of personalities who stand out in their field of work and who have developed their professional activity in Spain.

Along with Daniel Maspoch, winner of the New Technologies category, are the other winners, Antonio Echavarren Pablos, in the Basic Research category, Olympia Bover Hidiroglu, in the Economics category, Guillermina López-Bendito, in the Medical Research category, Carlota Escutia Dotti, in the Environmental Protection and Alfonso Jiménez Rodríguez-Vila, in the Entrepreneur Award.
